Will Palace pull off the next coup? - Analysis & betting predictions
It's hard to imagine what would have happened if Crystal Palace and those responsible had given Oliver Glasner the proverbial boot after his disastrous start to the 2024/25 season. After all, the Austrian's side are currently the team of the moment in England, and top clubs are said to be interested in Glasner himself. A win against Liverpool would probably be another letter of application, and we wouldn't rule one out. Although Crystal Palace have only won 2 out of 5 games this season, they are one of the very few teams not to have lost a game this season. After a 0-0 draw against Chelsea FC to open the season, they drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forrest. The first win of the 2025/26 season came away at Aston Villa, who were defeated 3-0. The 0-0 draw against Sunderland was the only match in which the Londoners would have expected more. In short: an all-round successful season, which could be crowned for the time being with a win against Liverpool. Will Liverpool FC go on to win? - Analysis & betting predictions
Liverpool are picking up in the new Premier League season where the "Reds" left off last year.
