Nottingham's season is a success - one way or another
For 2 years in a row, Nottingham have been in the relegation battle in the Premier League. This season, they are suddenly playing for a top 5 place in the table on the final matchday and the chance to be represented in next year's Champions League. The team was in a top 4 position for almost the entire season and only lost its top spot due to a poor April. After 37 matchdays, they are now in 7th place, which they have secured. A win against Chelsea would see them climb to 6th place in any case, with some help they could also reach the top 5. More points scored away from home than at home
Nottingham have scored more points away from home than at home this season with their defensive style of play. 10 of their 19 wins have come on home turf.
