Liverpool become English champions in 2025
After winning the league title in the coronavirus year 2020, Liverpool FC is now on the verge of another championship. No more title chances in other competitions
As well as Liverpool performed in the Premier League, they were eliminated in other competitions. First and foremost in the English FA Cup. They were beaten in the 4th round by the lower-ranked team Plymouth Argyle. They cut a better figure in the EFL Cup, where they reached the final but lost to Newcastle United (1:2). In the Champions League, they were considered the big favorites after the group stage, but were unlucky in the round of 16 and had to face Paris St. Germain. The focus is clearly on the Europa League
Tottenham Hotspur put in their best performances in the Europa League.
