Barcelona in the role of favorites - analysis & predictions

The question of a favorite doesn't really arise in this Barca - Mallorca betting tip. The differences in squad quality between the two teams are too great and the gap between the opponents in the table is also too big. Barcelona are currently - as so often - fighting with Real Madrid for the "crown" in Spanish club soccer. 55 points after 22 rounds is a great haul, meaning around 2.5 points per game. An average that even other top European clubs can only dream of. They are currently just one point ahead of Real, which is another reason why they cannot afford to show any weakness against Mallorca. However, the fact that things can get tight against seemingly clearly weaker teams was demonstrated over the course of the week in the Copa del Rey. Barca only just came out on top against second division side Albacete 2:1. However, we assume that they will be more confident against Mallorca. Accordingly, a handicap bet is one of our hottest bets in terms of Barca - Mallorca betting tips, with such a bet you could also push up the odds offered. Recently, Barcelona have been able to win their games against teams in a similar position in the table to Mallorca with aplomb. Only the boldest optimists will expect the visitors to win this game before this Barca - Mallorca betting tip. At this point, we can once again clarify the difference in the standings. Mallorca are currently in 14th place and must - or may - play away to the league leaders. However, the Mallorcans recently celebrated a 4:1 win against Sevilla FC. A team that has already beaten FC Barcelona this season. A goal or two seems to be within the realms of possibility. Especially as this was the underdog's first game of the season in which so many goals were scored. At the same time, it was the second home game in a row in which at least three goals were scored. And here we come to a serious problem for the visitors in this Barca - Mallorca betting tip: The underdogs have had problems so far this season, especially away from home. So far, they have only managed one full success away from home, curiously again against Sevilla FC (1-3). Overall, however, their record in away games looks bleak. Out of 11 games, Mallorca have lost no fewer than eight, with two draws and the aforementioned win. The last away game against Atlético Madrid could be a good indicator in terms of betting strategy. Mallorca suffered a clear 3-0 defeat against the team that is currently only three places behind Barcelona. It is also evident that the visitors have disadvantages in terms of personnel compared to Barcelona. With only 10 goals in 11 away games so far, it is not impossible that Mallorca will go without a goal on Saturday, but - as already mentioned - we assume that a goal or two should be possible.
