In the last two years, it was always Arsenal or Manchester City when it came to the Premier League championship. This season, City have said goodbye to the championship battle relatively early on. The Sky Blues' lead is probably too big to close and the goal must be a top four finish. But now the visitors also have the chance to put a severe damper on Arsenal. The Gunners are still Liverpool's closest rivals. However, the gap is already quite large, which is why they cannot afford another defeat and a home win against Manchester City is almost a must. Arsenal must win to keep title chances alive
Arsenal FC are once again in the role of the chasing pack, but this season they are not chasing Manchester City but Liverpool FC. The gap after 23 match days is already 6 points and Liverpool still have a game in hand. The Gunners must therefore not allow themselves a defeat under any circumstances. Aparticularly as the lead over City is only 6 points. However, Arsenal are in good form and have not lost any of their last 13 games in the Premier League. After Liverpool, this is currently the longest streak in the league. However, with 8 draws already, they keep dropping points. Including 2 of the last 4 games. Both against Brighton and Aston Villa they did not manage more than a draw. The Gunners are still looking for replacements for the long-term injured Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka. The goal tally in recent weeks has not been outstanding and only 6 goals have been scored in the last 4 games.

Arsenal is a real home power
