Brighton aim to redeem themselves in the Premier League
The start under the youngest coach in the Premier League was very promising and many expected Brighton to achieve an international starting place. After 24 matchdays, however, they are only in 10th place and are already 7 points behind a top 6 place in the table. On the last matchday, they suffered a 7-0 defeat at Nottingham Forrest. They were able to celebrate a sense of achievement in the FA Cup. In the 4th round, they faced Chelsea FC of all teams and defeated them 2:1 at home. After a win against Manchester United and a draw against Arsenal FC, they remained unbeaten in their 3rd match against a Big Six team in 2025. The Premier League will now be about slowly working their way back up to the top 6. Of course, a win against a better-placed team would be hugely important for that. The Seagulls will have to improve their defense in particular. Due to the 7-0 defeat, they now only have a negative goal difference of 35:38 goals. No team in the top half of the table conceded more goals. However, this is also due to a number of injuries.

A draw is quickly possible in home games
