On Sunday, June 15, the FIFA Club World Cup will finally kick off with the first matchday. Group A kicks off with the match between Ah Ahly and Inter Miami. Both teams are not among the title contenders, but are at least aiming to advance in their group. Alongside FC Porto and Palmeiras, however, they are considered outsiders. Al Ahly is a fairly unknown quantity internationally
Al Ahly is the only representative from Egypt taking part in this FIFA Club World Cup. They have clearly been the best team in their country in recent years and are once again in contention for the league title this year. The team has played 17 matchdays in the Egyptian Premier League so far and collected 39 points in the process, which puts them in second place and just 3 points behind leaders FC Pyramids. Before the big event, the club decided to change coach once again. They signed Spaniard Jose Riveiro, who has yet to coach a game for the team. Al Ahly has no superstars in its squad

Miami relies on experience
Unlike their opponents, Inter Miami are relying on plenty of experience and superstar power. Above all, of course, Lionel Messi is expected to lead the team to success.
