Tottenham slips more and more into mid-table
Currently, only the name is absolutely top, because the team has not been one of the top teams for weeks. Tottenham are only 11th in the table and are already more than 10 points behind the top 4. In recent weeks, the situation has also slowly worsened, as Spurs have only won one of their last 7 games and this was against bottom of the table Southampton. In this period, there was a 3:4 defeat against Chelsea or a 3:6 at home against Liverpool. Although Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, the two regular central defenders, are still missing, such performances are still subterranean for a top team. Tottenham have already conceded 19 goals after 10 home games and have already conceded a total of 28. With 41 goals, they also have the 2nd-best offense, but even that can no longer cushion the blow. Tottenham must stabilize
Spurs have been dogged by injuries this season, especially in defense.
